Juneau 24 Hour Booking Overview
JPD Daily Bulletin for Juneau
The Juneau Police Department posts a Daily Bulletin at about 3 p.m. each afternoon. The bulletin covers cases from noon the day before to noon the same day. It is the main public source for Juneau 24 Hour Booking activity. Each entry shows arrest information, incident reports, and case numbers. The bulletin is the closest thing Juneau has to a live arrest log.
Some reports do not show up in the bulletin. JPD does not publish online reports filed through the JPD Online Reporting Portal. Serious crimes and in progress cases are also held back. Past PSA Archive entries cover items like a $50,000 warrant arrest tied to child sexual abuse material and a SEACAD drug arrest in Juneau. The bulletin format is short and direct.
JPD made 1,465 arrests in 2022. Those covered crimes against people, property, and society. JPD serves the entire unified city and borough of Juneau. The agency does both city police work and the duties of a sheriff's office. There is no separate sheriff in Juneau. JPD also leads the SEACAD Task Force, which is the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs group.
Below is the JPD Daily Bulletin page. The Juneau Police Department posts each daily 24 Hour Booking summary at juneau.org/police/newsroom.
The bulletin updates each weekday afternoon. Each Juneau 24 Hour Booking entry includes a case number you can use for any follow up records request.
JPD Records Request Portal
The Juneau Police Department takes records requests through an online form. The form is on the city site. You can ask for arrest reports, booking logs, incident files, and dispatch logs. Processing time depends on the volume of requests at the time. JPD aims to meet the 10 day window in the Alaska Public Records Act.
Some Juneau records are exempt from release. JPD will not share juvenile records, active investigation files, the identity of a confidential source, or anything that could affect the right to a fair trial. Fees may apply for copy and research time. The Records Unit handles the work in house at the main JPD facility.
The records form is at juneau.org/police/records-request. Use the JPD records portal for any Juneau 24 Hour Booking arrest report or booking record request.
The form takes basic case info. Use the case number from the Daily Bulletin to speed up the search. Mail and walk in requests are also accepted at JPD headquarters.
Note: Juneau Police records pull from a city, state, and federal mix of databases including local files, state APSIN, and federal NCIC entries.
Juneau Police Department Contacts
JPD sits at 6255 Alaway Avenue. The main phone is (907) 586-0600. The department runs an Investigations Unit, a Patrol Division, a Records Unit, and an Evidence and Property Room. Property releases happen by appointment at the main facility. You need a case number and an ID to pick up property.
JPD also runs community programs like a Citizens Police Academy and youth outreach. Below is the main JPD page. The Juneau Police Department site is at juneau.org/police.

Lemon Creek Correctional Center
Lemon Creek Correctional Center is the main jail for Juneau and the wider Southeast Alaska region. LCCC sits at 2000 Lemon Creek Road. The phone is (907) 465-6200. The facility is run by the Alaska Department of Corrections. It holds both pretrial detainees and sentenced inmates.
LCCC was housing 18 inmates in March 2023. The number rises and falls with arrest activity in the borough. The booking desk records name, date of birth, charges, and bail at intake. That intake set is the core Juneau 24 Hour Booking record. Visiting hours run by appointment only.
You can confirm a person is at LCCC through the Alaska VINE system. Call 1-800-247-9763 or use the website. The service is free. It runs 24 hours a day. VINE shows the current location of any DOC inmate and any planned release date. You can sign up for free release alerts as well.
Alaska CourtView for Juneau Cases
The Alaska Court System tracks Juneau cases on CourtView. Juneau case numbers start with 1JU. A typical number is 1JU-26-00001CR. The 1 is the First Judicial District. CourtView is free. You can search by name, case number, or ticket number. The system returns up to 500 records per query.
CourtView shows charges, hearing dates, docket entries, and case status. Use it to confirm a Juneau 24 Hour Booking has moved into a court file. The system pulls from both Superior and District courts. Juneau felonies go to Superior Court. Misdemeanors and traffic cases go to District Court. The Juneau courthouse is the Dimond Courthouse at 123 Fourth Street.
Some Juneau cases drop off CourtView. Under AS 22.35.030 the court takes a case off the public site after 60 days when the person was acquitted or all charges were dismissed. Juvenile, CINA, adoption, mental commitment, and minor settlement matters are not posted at all. Always check the date of birth before you act on a name match.
Court copy fees run $5 for the first document. Each added copy is $3. Certified copies cost $10. Research time is $30 per hour under the court fee schedule. Older paper files from before 1990 may need an in person trip to the Dimond Courthouse clerks.
